Worried for years at new digital machines due to past experiences with locking lids, poor fill depths, & pre-mature drains with lid open while gathering missed items… But, turns out that’s mostly my fault LOL. This one still does it, but have everything ready to go (cancels premature drain, & irritation at locked lid once washing begins). This the worst washer I have ever owned. So noisy. Does not spin as well as my old one that was 25 years old. Fabric softener spots on my dark clothes. No option for a deep rinse/fill for colours. Overall, the GE Model # GTW525ACW0WB washing machine is decent. To be honest I went to purchase the Maytag Commercial MVWP586GW however was out of stock and had a smaller load capacity at 3.8. Came across this GE Model and has slightly larger tub at 4.3 cu. ft. and has "some" commercial components although not sure what that really means. Motor has a 10 yr warranty. This machine allows for manual selection of the water level and an agitator which was a requirement. When leveled properly there is no vibration although the machine seems very loud however am able to shut the laundry room door. The machine does come with hoses which is a good thing if you need them. I would have preferred more of a commercial machine however this seems to get the clothes clean.. Nickname Required100.
