I would give these fans a 5 if not for the one thing that I’m fairly disappointed in. I bought one, loved it so much I bought a second fan and that’s where I’m having my difficulties. I’ll explain, I use Apple HomeKit in house I have about 30 devices all controlled with Siri. My first fan was easy to install has a great fit and finish, looks great works great with Siri with no complaints. So I ordered a second fan, went together fantastically also looks great, but integrating it into my Smart Home not so good. It will not let me add the second fan, it actually says your fan is already installed which it’s not. After Googling the issue it’s a know problem. I just wasn’t aware of this issue until after I purchased and installed the second fan. So I’m relegated to only using the remote control for that 2nd fan. I searched for the internet for several fans this color and size. I finally landed on this Hunter one. I loved everything about it. My husband installed it without any trouble. We absolutely love it. The light is the perfect color, not too yellow and not too white-like most LED lights can be. The only downside would be the remote. It only has up and down arrows and the remote does not have a holder for the wall. We tend to loose remotes easily in our household so that is a negative point for us. Just had this light installed in fresh white color for a sunroom. The color matches the white ceiling exactly. The look is very nice and is a quiet operation. The bulbs that come with it are 3000k and looks very yellow. I will need to swap those out for daylight 5000k bulbs. The only drawback is the wiring. The wiring of the fan and light are combined into one wire. I wanted to run the fan off one wall switch and the light off another wall switch. The licensed electrician who installed the light advised that this cannot be done since it was built with only one wire to serve both. These Downrods by Fanimation are available in multiple finishes and lengths and will fit many installation needs. Recommended Downrod length is based on ceiling height, with an ideal distance from the floor to fan blades being 7 to 9 feet. Downrods can be joined together using a Downrod coupler for extended lengths.
