The rug arrived folded in a box. I was concerned about how it would look when it was placed on the floor. Well, I am happy to say this design was perfect, because the rug didn't roll up in any areas and the way that it was folded permitted it to lay flat. The rug has a plush feel, but a rug pad may be needed if you are looking for more a of cushioned feel. However, I was looking for something that was low-profile and soft. This large floral area rug is pretty and soft under foot. Since its an 8x10 rug, I was nervous stuffing it into my washing machine, but it worked! The rug lost its new smell and came out of the dryer fresh. It didnt fade or leach color at all. Unlike a smaller washable rug I got, the wrinkles and fold marks came out after it went through the dryer. I also like the colors a lot. The primary blue is a light denim blue, and the accents are cream colored borders and flowers of a blush pink. I took these photos after I washed the rug. I pl!an to put it in my guestroom as soon as I can get help moving a queen-size bed in a heavy wood platform with drawers. Its definitely a two-person job! This is my second washable rug, and I like them due to the ease of care and cleaning. Lastly, this rug is a great deal. Washable rugs cost a quarter of what normal heavier area rugs cost.
