These chairs are great quality at a fair price. The fitment of pieces is precise, the assembly hardware is robust, and they are very sturdy. The wood has a nice looking satin finish that has been uniformly applied. The color is more of a brown walnut as opposed to the reddish walnut finishes that are commonly found. This worked perfect with a Steve Silver table I was trying to match with. You will not fool anybody into thinking this is real leather upholstery. Exactly as pictured. Sturdy, good quality materials. The fake leather feels very close to real. The material is sewn well the wood feels solid and sturdy, not like pressboard. Doesn’t feel like manufactured wood (not sure if it is or not). I believe the weight rating of 400 lbs is legitimate. These chairs are really nice and feel sturdy and well made. I’m using them in one of our vacation rental cabins, so durability is very important to me. They’re comfortable, look great, and the faux leather is a nice choice because it should be easy to keep clean between guests.
