5 stars for the bed but unfortunately, the experience took much longer than it should have. Our first delivery arrived incomplete, with only two pieces of wood—more than half of the bed was missing. We had to return it, and a full replacement shipment was sent, which delayed everything, including our assembly (which, of course, we still had to pay for). The new shipment did arrive with all the parts, but we also noticed some chipping and damage on the side. At that point, we decided to keep it because we were tired of going back and forth. Just one look, and there is no doubt where this bedroom set belongs—in a modern home. I thought at first the pictures portrayed this bed a bit tallerbigger than it actually was.. but I realized my box springs for my bed are huge and if they were a few inches shorter, it would be perfect. This is the best idea ever, I love it! I was not thrilled about a dark color so I took fabric and glue gunned it all around the wood pieces after I assembled most of it, their was enough room to do this and it worked great. The box came damaged but fortunately it doesn’t appear to have caused structural damage. There are definitely parts of the headboard or other areas that look cheap or made with low quality products. Parts do not fit together seamlessly but it suits my needs. The drawers were hard to put together because of where the screws are located. The drawers are not heavy duty but seem to be holding together so far. I like the look and feel of it overall. I do not see myself holding onto this for 5+ years but it is sturdy enough now. Beautiful unit and is a great addition to our guest room. It took 2 of us a few days to install. There were some difficult parts but my husband and I were able to do it ourselves. There was some damage to the doors during delivery but most of the damage was hidden. The corners are not great and the front had scratches. We were taken care of though by Wayfair. I chose this one because it had no visible screws. I removed the 1 star due to the fact the handles needed some extra drilling to get them to fit, the cosmetic damage, some of the pieces not lining up nicely etc. It is not perfect but very nice for this price range. Minor negative, the metal frame is a few millimeters smaller than the wood frame it fits into, so the metal frame will slide lightly causing a sound. Overall a solid and nice looking bed. The bed parts were shipped in 4 different shipments. 1-2 hours are needed to put them together. Headboard has 3 light bulbs. The first time they were broken during shipping. Customer service was able to ship out replacement very quickly. I recommend put light bulbs in a protective box. The assemble instructions are well written. They are only 5 steps. They are not complex but you may need some power tools. Pre-drilled holes on the board may not be perfectly aligned.. Anonymous. NY.
