We just finished installing this beautiful light fixture. It is fabulous! I have searched everywhere for the perfect Chandelier for our dining room. I have finally found THE ONE, by Rosdorf Park, the Elizabella! The fixture itself is extremely well made. The gold color is perfect, not brassy, like so many. The installation was fairly simple, but the instructions left much to be desired. It was a joy unveiling the real, beautifully cut , crystal bulbs. They are the perfect size and weight, plus they, like the fixture, were very well packaged. No broken light bulbs, no damage, anywhere, period. One thing that truly impressed my husband, was it was is already, seamlessly, put together. No threading arms on to the hub, not trying to fit the wires into anything. Except of course to hardwire the piece. My husband is 78 years old, and he was able to install the fixture by himself. He left the light bulbs and crystal bulbs off until he had it hardwired. Having the tool necessary included, sure made it much easier to finish the job. Yes, this fixture is more expensive than most, with a similar design. However, after all the shopping and comparing of the different qualities, we both feel it was a great investment. I would definitely purchase this light fixture again, and we both highly recommend it! Update The dining room is finally finished! The branch design combined with all of the hanging crystals is incredibly elegant, and when the lights are on, the sparkle is just gorgeous. It truly looks like a piece of art hanging from the ceiling. We watched the video provided for assembly, which was very helpful and made putting everything together much easier. It does take some time because of the number of branches and crystals, but the finished result is definitely worth the effort. One word of caution: be careful when attaching the tree limbs, as the screws can strip if overtightened. The chandelier is very well made overall, although I did notice some yellowing/discoloration on a few of the tree limb areas. At a sale price of over $650, I do feel it should have arrived in perfect condition. Fortunately, it isn't very noticeable once the chandelier is completely assembled and hanging, so it wasn't a deal breaker for us. The dimmable feature is another plus, allowing you to go from beautiful, bright sparkle to softer ambient lighting. Despite the minor imperfections, we are extremely pleased with this chandelier. Looks great, and decent structural quality, however the crystals are low quality. They have a lot of imperfections, rough cut edges, and blemishes. It’s clearly cheap glass and not real crystal. Also, there’s two perimeters of crystal, one around the inside and one around the outside. Naturally, they have different circumference which means the crystals will fall in and out of sync as you go around unless the spaces between them compensates for that. In this case, it doesn’t compensate and so practically that means that on one side of the chandelier the crystals will be aligned and the other side they will be misaligned. Gorgeous!! My husband rented a scaffold to install it since our ceiling is 20 ft tall in our entry. He then lowered it, and we sat on scaffolding to install the crystals. Definitely a little more challenging installing this so high but worth it. It comes with a set of small crystals and a set of large crystals and you alternate them when installing on the rings of the chandelier. It took the both of us 1 12 hrs to put the crystals on.
