The colors are stunning the desk is heavy and the materials dont look cheap or fake. I was apprehensive about the fake marble but it looks great. Ran into a couple issues while assembling bc there wasnt enough of certain kinds of screws. Also be mindful of the orientation you want the desk. This is a beautiful desk and solid. Followed the directions page by page and had no issues. Took my time, had the football game on TV and poured myself a cocktail during the build. Depending on how fast you work depends on how much time it will take to assemble. Took me an evening and the next morning to complete but I took my time with no stress. Only minor issue is the drawers are a bit tight but they may smooth out with use. Love the desk and for the price you can’t beat it. A desk like this at a local store is about $1200. This is a beautiful desk. Looks just as good as it does in the picture. The chairs in my photo are also from Wayfair. I recommend paying the money to assemble. It took the two-person crew three hours. But it looks perfect. However, long after the assembly crew left, I realized the light on the front of the desk does not work. Delivery was also difficult because the desk arrived in a huge pallet crate that could not be brought inside. Overall, the delivery and assembly process was much more complicated than expected..
