I only got the product today and out of the box it appears as though at the very least it had been assembled before and taken apart again, but aside from that it appears to work fine and looks just like the picture. The steam from the hooded portion is fine, almost like a smoke, however the nozzle sprayed the water a bit opposed to solely providing a mist. It didn’t come with an instruction manual per se, so I’m not sure if there’s a fix or if it’s a defect. Today isn’t wash day but I’m very excited to try it on my hair and give an update. Update: It turns out the product I was sent was a used product, which I found to be misleading since I understood myself to be purchasing a new product, however, since I noticed the scratches when I first opened the box, Wayfair gave me a credit. I did however have to do a bit of maintenance since the nanospray gun I previoulsy mentioned was backed up with calcification. I believe when I turned it on the first day and noticed that it was spraying water out instead of just the steam that it had a bit of calcification causing a backup. I'm not sure what the lifecycle of the product will be like since it was owned by someone else before and not well maintained before being returned.
