The photos don't do it justice, it's pretty to look at and definitely classes up any space it's in. The crystals are cheap (as would be expected for the price). They show color at the chandelier but do not throw the color onto the walls like a prism would. Realistically, if you had high-quality crystals, in that amount, the cost of the piece would be much, much, much more expensive, so I am happy with the overall value. Installiation was a pain. Honestly I haven’t had the chance to install this yet but I have several friends that have used these before and it didn’t seem to be difficult. This chandelier design is perfect for our home’s mid century craftsman architecture. I was so excited to install it. But. I forgot to check the light bulbs. The bulbs that go with this fixture are hideous LED arrays in a cool color. They are somewhat shielded by the glass. There’s a halogen option but the halogen wattage load is more than our wiring can manage with the 9 lights. Overall the design is really pretty and for the price this is a great chandelier.
