We just had it installed yesterday. Recommend that you get a print out of the specifications and the installation. From what I was able to read in Wayfare’s description section, we would be able to install the unit flush with the ceiling. And unfortunately, because I didn’t have printed specifications we had to drop down the unit a foot from the ceiling. Not the inconspicuous flush mount unit and I was hoping for. According to my contractor, this was a very complicated unit to install. To be fair this is a relatively new category of range top hoods that are being offered. Pleased with the noise level, but have yet to cook with it. Read reviews from other previous purchasers, and a common statement was how small the remote controller was. I bought this for a nightstand instead of for the bathroom. We bought a new bed and it raised the mattress so much I needed a taller narrow nightstand. It took a little time for us to put it together, but it is very nice quality and reasonably priced. The drawers are deeper than most. ! We changed the handles to go with the other furniture.
