It's a VERY pretty fan. The blades are a very light gray wash look - high end. I got the Nickel finish motor. On/off via light switch and then the remote controls everything. Most fans I run at speed 1 for sleeping and that creates some air movement. But this fan doesn't push a lot of air, so i have to use speed 2 or 3 to get the same effect. This is in a guest room, which is rarely used, so that's fine for my needs. But if you need a fan that REALLY creates a breeze in a room, this is NOT the one. (Minus a star for that).. Tamara954. Very disappointed with Wayfair/Birch Lane. Took 5 months to receive the fan, once received the fan did not operate properly also, Wayfair/Birch Lane advertises the fan with a light and bulb included on the fan. Don't waste your time or your money. I feel Wayfair/Birch Lane did not handle this situation properly. I know now they are a third party company aka middle man company. Very poor situation!. Vina. The fan 3 blades are made of a whole piece of wood through manual grinding, painting, waxing, and other processes, which are not easy to break and have good moisture resistance. The whole piece of wood is formed and extruded through high temperature, with good bending. The fan blades adopt a unique streamlined design to reduce drag. Wide fan blades ensure adequate airflow. Looks like a monster.

The front adjustable curtain rod measures 5/8" in diameter; the back adjustable curtain rod measures 1/2" in diameter. Both rods extend the same length.
