The threaded adapter adjusts the height (1'' max) of the floor drain to accommodate the floor level. Please use proper cement mix if connecting PVC pipe. Not recommended for use with a "hot-mop" membrane.

I bought 2 of these for my rough-in on my master bathroom. They seem to be working as intended. However, the item in the box clearly had already been (at least partially) installed and put back into the box! Customer Reps I spoke with each time were friendly and apologetic. They offered a small discount, but I paid for a new item and wanted a new item, or at least 50% off. They got a new one ordered and although I offered to return the 1st item, they told me to keep it. New ETA came and went and for 8 days status was simply "We are looking into a delay". Finally, 18 days after initial ETA I had to cancel, as the plumber was already scheduled, and we had to have the parts. Ultimately the plumber thought everything looked ok and we ended up using the "used" column. It turned out to be free - ironic since they refused to go higher than 20% discount! No complaints with Wayfair reps on my 4-5 calls, just frustrated that they couldn't tell me why my item was delayed! Product itself does exactly what we need it to and looks great in new shower! This Delta Shower column is great! Very sturdy and well made. The flexible hose is very nice and stretches very far. The adjustable handheld holder and diverter are plastic, but feel robust and solid. I used with existing Delta shower head and Hansgrohe Handheld. You will need to be very handy if you are going to install by yourself. Install requires to drill four holes into the back. With title, that can hard if you don’t have right tools and experience.
