Our 4-Plate Design no tools needed, each plate snaps securely onto your umbrella's crossbar for a seamless, sturdy fit. The base holds up to 100 lbs of water, 135 lbs of dry sand, or 150 lbs of wet sand. Each plate features a watertight screw cap and port for easy filling and draining, reducing evaporation. Made from heavy-duty, recyclable HDPE, it resists extreme temperatures and UV rays.

I ordered a cantilever umbrella that had a metal X base which couldn't support the weight of the umbrella so I ordered this to hold it in place. It took about $15-20 worth of sand from the local hardware store to fill it up. For me the base is SO bulky though. Perhaps this isn't something that can be avoided due to the nature of the item and the weight it needs to compensate for but it takes up a lot of space so just make sure you plan for that. I put pots of flowers on it to try to blend it into the space. I don't know if it did anything though lol.. Abee. CT. Sat Jul 18 2026
