Beautiful high quality piece of furniture. The TV stand is hard wood (not MDF), very sturdy, and a lovely walnut color (as pictured online). Fits in perfectly with our decor. However, there was a major problem with the right side panel. The drill holes and recesses for the hinges were off by at least an inch. Thanks to my husband’s expert carpentry skills, he was able to create a workable solution. Otherwise, it would have required disassembling and waiting for a replacement side panel. This defect caused much frustration and interior “hacking” of an otherwise beautiful piece of furniture. Not happy with this major oversight on the part of the manufacturer. Love the item. Box was very heavy and cabinet is extremely quality. All panels are solid wood except some support pieces are plywood. Item looks more refined (less rustic) in person.
