Although putting the table together is straight forward, the machining on the bolts is beyond poor; meaning that putting them in is very tricky, they simply do not thread smoothly. I tried WD-40 which helped somewhat and then a little lithium grease. My advice is to screw each bolt fully into the leg before trying to fasten to the table. Once you get the screw in fully, you can remove it and then try to fasten the leg. I managed to get it put together, but it will take time, patience and some lubricants . That said, the shape of the legs elevates the look quite a bit and the finish quality is above what you would expect at the price point. It was well boxed and I had no damage. Also, there was absolutely no chemical smell that often radiates off these kinds of products. It appears actually to be real wood. Now that it is assembled, I am happy with it.. Gregory. Excellent table, matches well with our color palette. My one complaint would be the fact that the attachment method for the table top to the base is dependent upon wood screws with only about 3/4" thread engagement into the tabletop. I think there could be a better and stronger design for that, and the base is very light - it doesn't feel like a solid acacia or walnut, which is a little surprising for the price. I absolutely love this table however the top piece is not centered on the square piece below it. I am not sure if that was an install mistake or the factory. I also don't love that I cannot figure out how to reach customer service to speak to a human about this. I am not returning the item because of the lentgh or time it took to be delivered however any advice about what to do would be great.
