I bought this so I could slice my own meat. Works great from paper-thin to about a 1/2 inch thick. Also works well with veggies, great for a stir fry. Tip make sure the meat is very cold or slightly frozen ( put it in the freezer for about 45 minutes. And no bones. IT WILL NOT cut through bones. Also, with turkey or chicken, it shaves it instead of slicing on the part you have cut off before. So it is best to leave the turkey or chicken breast whole if you want to slice it.. Paul. US. Need to cut through bone while processing meat. This product is butchering essential. The saw has a trigger lock to maintain blade tension while cutting.

Have only used once so far to slice roast beef thin! Did a fair job... Had to hold roast with hand because Food Pusher as referred to in manual will not stay on machine if your piece of meat is any wider than 4 inches.. Another thing is when you can use the Pusher the meat tends to flip around while cutting! does not grip meat well! Power was good cut OK! Had a little tearing at the bottom of roast...
