Once complete and set up its a decent enclosure. We got it for our chickens and attached the hen house to it, just left off a couple bars and zip tied the entrance right to it. The instructions absolutely suck and we wound up having to unbolt like 200+ connections to double up the gussets. Now, my wife and daughter got the base started and then asked for my help, I never questioned whether or not they started it correctly so perhaps they missed a step. The door is like waist high to my 6’ frame so it’s a definite crouch to get in there. I can stand in between the “roof trusses”. It has a good appearance and I wonder how it will hold up to the AZ monsoon winds. I used spiral drill in anchors to pin it down, no way the little stakes it came with will keep this in our yard in high winds. I am contemplating what to do in a couple years when the top is sun rotted away, there are only a few trusses to make the roofline and while it looks great, it does not take much to push it off level/plumb. To my amazement, this came in three relatively small, but heavy boxes and we were a few nuts and bolts short but they at least give you a spare parts bag, which had enough to complete the build. Be prepared that this comes in literally hundreds of individual pieces so it can look overwhelming, just follow it step by step and comes together rather nicely, be patient nd take your time. It really is an amazing engineering feat to get this big ole enclosure in these three little boxes. Overall, I am pretty happy with it. I wish the top had the same level of structure (aka bars) as the walls so the fabric top can be optional for predators and when it simply rots away but it would be easy enough to just get some netting and/or a shade later.. Easy assembly however it does take about 6 hours to but together. There were a few undrilled boards. Also the cover doesn't stay on with windy days with it being Velcro. This is a very large run for the price, and it is sturdy, but there were some things that I wish I had been aware of. I might still have ordered it, but I was a tad disappointed. If you want a truly secure run, you will need to invest hardware cloth and sweat. On the positive side, the wire panels are sturdy, and the hardware is substantial. They are solid welded wire panels, put together with double brackets. It should do a good job of keeping out large predators. However, the gaps between panels are wider than they appear in the picture and there are large gaps to each side of the door The door is a duck-in door. It's about 3'3" tall, although quite wide. The third image shows that more clearly. The "roof" is a series of triangular trusses with cross beams, so while it is 6' at the peak, you have to watch your head. That said, it's plenty high enough for the chickens, and one can get in there to work, carefully. The roof is mostly canvas. The welded wire does not continue ANYWHERE that is under the canvas in the images. There is a big triangular opening at both ends. Quality control could have been a bit better, but pieces are well enough manufactured to be sufficient for it to function. Assembly is tedious, that's a lot of panels! What we are doing to make the run more secure is to put a 2' band of 1/2" hardware cloth up the sides, and also a 2' skirt of the same, staked and weighted down. The entire roof area will be covered with 1/2"-1" hardware cloth, and we will cut triangular panels to fill in the front and back. My 120 x 117 outdoor metal dog kennel arrived in 2 boxes on the day stated when product was ordered. I am nit able to assemble it due to the snow and ground being frozen. We are taking care of six refugee chickens who survived the Eaton Fire in Altadena California, on January 8th, for a family who found that their chickens miraculously survived, even though their home, their neighbors' homes, their block, and their neighborhood have been decimated, burned to the ground, and out of existence. We needed something quick and easy. This works well to protect the little miracle flock while they forage during the day. the coop does not appear to be sturdy enough to protect from predators without some modifications. The door worked before we put the chicken wire on, but with the chicken wire on, the latches won't latch, so we tie the door shut with some wire for now. We'll make some adjustments to make the door shut properly later. The chicken wire does not cover the top of the coop, or even all the way to the tarp in the front above the door. The tarp is also about 2" too short to be tied to the metal frame, so we tied it to the chicken wire for now. We plan to use something like a bungee cord to tie it to the frame without stressing the tarp to the point of ripping. One part of one of the door poles appears to be spray painted silver, so we have concerns that it will rust. It was pretty easy to assemble. My 64 year old husband took his time and put most of it together at a leisurely pace by himself in a few hours. I wandered on the scene a little later and helped a little, not that he needed it. The structure is light enough to move around the yard, which is what we wanted. One of us can drag it easily. Two of us can lift it very easily. It is not sturdy enough for feeders or waterers to be hung anywhere in this coop.
