This patio bench is made of High-density polyethylene (HDPE),which resists cracking, breaking, and peeling. It has the beautiful touch of wood, but unlike wood or PS materials cracking in dry conditions or rotting in frequent moisture, this chair stays sturdy no matter the weather (hot, rain, or snow). The color is long-lasting and won't fade or dull. They look like new, even after a few years of use! The backrest of our bench is not totally straight, a slightly tilted angle provides good support for your back.

Nice bench. I was able to put the bench together myself, but I deducted a star because it would have been easier if the pictures on the instructions were larger and clearer. I have two screws that were messed up and I tried a few times to talk to someone about this problem.
