i have to admit i had no idea what to expect. Truly i just thought these would be some cheap light weight metal brackets. they were delivered very quickly. I went to pick up the box off the patio... again, thinking these were probably some cheap light weight metal brackets, but the box was heavy! quite heavy. I brought them in and pulled them out of the box and was very surprised and pleased at the weight and quality of these brackets. We had spent a lot of money on a large under mount hand hammered copper metal sink and i was concerned about the weight of the sink being carried by just the cabinet. i found these online and took a shot at them. very stout piece of metal and nice construction. I am 100% convinced that the sink is never going to move with these underneath it. Highly recommend this product should you ever find yourself in the need for support!. Dale. New Mexico. Nice weathervane. I bought to place in an old iron pot that was here when we bought the place. I had a small fountain in there at one time but the tree’s dropped too much debris in it. Replacing another Eagle that blew away in a storm. Did a lot of research, ended with this weathervane. It is a classic but, it doesn’t seem to be so ostentatious. Liked the design better of the next size up, but thought it might be too large (tall) for my copula. It’s winter, so I have not climbed up to install it yet. Love the look!! Going to look great on our cupola. The balls feel plastic but that’s probably a good thing where weather is concerned. Overall it’s heavy and sturdy. Also purchased the lacquer to protect it. Only complaint is there’s no instructions or hardware provided to secure the weathervane to your cupola or roof.
