I had no problem getting used to the bed, yes it was a little harder than the one in the store and I phoned to make sure I got the soft because it was no where on the mattress that it was a soft, she checked and assured me I did and it would soften up. The best bed we have ever slept on. It's the perfect softness. My wife and I have always struggled with back pain and were unable to sleep for more than 6 hours at time before being woken up with pain. Hesitated because of price. Glad I ordered. Excellent quality and design. Plastic bumpers on the outside surfaces are a good idea. The four strong 'feet' in the center are the only things touching the sink bottom, so lots of stuff doesn't get caught when you're rinsing. We have a 60/40 sink, so we also bought a larger one..
