I received the shower door in under 4 days and the install went smoothly except when it came to adjusting the gap between the door and wall. This double sliding door is one giant heavy beast, probably because of the 14” thick 2 glass door panels and the heavy duty hardware. It’s a beautiful unit but I really didn’t think it through. My shower is a fiberglass shell and because my house is over 100 years old, we don’t know yet if there are intact studs behind the shell. With the weight of this, you MUST have studs (or something equally string) to support the weight. When my installer makes time for me to see if this is doable, I will update. Ursula. Spokane, WA.
