It's always a little nerve wracking when ordering a rug sight unseen and you have to depend on reviews to give you an idea of the colors that are actually in the rug itself. Here we go: The rug itself is absolutely GORGEOUS. Dusty blue outline and several shades of mixed hues of blue in the center. Some of the lighter shades will lean towards a silvery color which sets off the other colors beautifully. Then you'll see a beautiful mustard color and burnt orange designs with a tad of medium brown sprinkled in. Not sure who designed this but all these colors together work BEAUTIFULLY!! We paired this with our cognac colored sofas and it really is quite stunning! This rug is meant to make an impression in a room and it does just that! This is NOT a dark rug. It falls somewhere in between. The quality is there! We put a 1/2" rug pad under it to prevent movement and also offer a softer cushier feel.
