This is a great little dehumidifier. We got it for our basement because our old one was getting old and starting to have problems. This one is smaller and a lot quieter. The inverter option is great for climates that have short winters for the same reason noted above, no furnace needed! Heat up a room for the cold hours of the night and that’s it. The remote is a must, but these work great with the thermostat so just set the temperature you’re comfortable with and that’s it! Instructions were entirely too confusing but I got it done. Super Heavy so be prepared. It cools my room fairly quickly. I couldn’t set it up to wi-fi but that doesn’t affect the functionality.
