This rug is beautiful and very soft to walk on. I placed it on a 1/2 inch pad. The color was exactly as pictured and goes perfectly with my blue and ivory furniture.My couch is a bluish gray leather and brings out the blue in the rug. From one side the lines look a rich brown but from the other side they looks more of a tanmocha which honestly works great for my space. Still waiting for it to lay flat after 2 weeks. This rug has some neutral tones that coordinate nicely with my dark wood floors and cherry cabinets. It is plush underfoot for standing long periods at the sink.
