Very well made. Installed it on my 30X40 metal pole barn. Secured it with Gorilla Glue Adhesive caulk and two 6 inch lag screws. This cupola will never blow down. It comes in white with a black metal roof. Weather vane is also all black. I painted the sides green with a white accent stripe. Painted the eagle gold and the NSEW white. Looks great. We liked the "boxy" look of this model as opposed to the "awning" style look of most undercab hoods. We also liked that this had the option for connection to ducting out the back of the hood, which made this easy to duct outside (we didn't have to go up into the cabinet, just ducted straight back outside). Install was fairly easy (just screwed in two "runners" under our cabinets, then slotted the hood onto those runners, screwed in place, and then installed the mesh screens). Overall it runs quietly and does a decent job sucking up fumes from our induction stovetop. If I had a gas range I might opt for something more powerful (but we didn't want too many CFMs as we believe that would have forced us to introduce make-up or return air into our kitchen to meet local codes). The other thing is the indicator bell when the oven reaches temperature is faint and it's not as obvious to read when the temperature is reached. But otherwise I love everything about it! Please amplify the alert or allow the user to set the volume on alerts. Some folks may be harder of hearing than others. • Storage drawer is large enough to store unused oven racks as well as (separately acquired) broiler pans. • Warming center (a great feature) on cooktop passed the melted butter test (i.e. keeping butter in melted but not over-heated state) • Instead of two large burners in the front, the cooktop would be much more useful if one of the burners in the front could allow the user to select either a larger burner circumference or a smaller one. Sometimes, a smaller burner is the only one needed. (Tea for two, for example.) • Oven door projects into the room a bit more than I expected, but is not obtrusive for my galley kitchen. • The oven shuts off when the timer reaches the set time. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was considering an induction range but decided to stay with the gas dual fuel. Both gas cooktop and electric oven work well. Pros: It fits nicely in the space of my previous range - I like the "lip" on the sides. Top is easy to clean. Indicator shows status of oven preheat. Telescoping rack is great. Cons: Sound of timer is low and very irritating even after I tried adjusting volume. The warming drawer should have a handle so you wouldn't need to push the front of it to open it.. Patb.
