I’m 75 so this thing is a bit hard for me. I didn’t realize the compartment for clean water and used water were in the back. It’s heavy to turn around for me and lifting the water is difficult. You must wash the whole thing every week. My sink is high, newer apt, I’m 4 11” and that’s lifting at chest level. I think for younger folks it’d be great but when it’s done cleaning the water there is about a days worth for me. Otherwise for what it is it’s great! It does take up one counter at my apt. I really was excited about this water filtration system but after setting it up I have to say I’m kind of disappointed. I have been buying bottled water for a long time because even tap water that’s been filtered through a filter that attaches to my kitchen faucet gives me heartburn. On top of that I got a letter from the city saying my water is coming into my house through lead pipes! So I felt it was time to up my water filtration game! My biggest concern with this system is that I wasn’t able to find a replacement filter anywhere. The manufacturer and big box store that sell them show them as sold out. This system came with a filter but what good is it if I can’t get a replacement filter when I need one The set up was a pain as well because it requires running four liters of water through the machine three times before you can use it. So, after all that, how does the water taste It’s ok. It’s not really good tasting water. It also takes up more counter space in my small house. It does what it says so I give it four stars but I’m not going to tell all my friends to buy one. Also, two pieces of plastic were broken off the lid to the water reservoir. I called Wayfair about this product description but was told she thought it was accurate. I questioned why- what looks obviously like a counter top unit- is being described as under counter. My system is split to a dedicated faucet and my 2 refrigerator's, ice makers and water dispensers. Water taste good, no issues. I did have to add a small pressure tank to keep the system from cycling multiple times when the ice maker was being filled or the water was being dispensed from the refrigerators. The refrigerators back pressure causes the RO system to shut off prematurely. With the added small waterdrop PWT ( pressure water tank) the system no longer Cycles and the pressure of the water coming out, has increased a small amount. The number of times per day the system comes on has also decreased because of the PWT. The system is not loud but noticeable. The reviews I've seen mainly complain about noise from the system. Which it's not my experience. Again, adding the PWT also reduces the numbem cycles the system runs per day. The system was easy to put in. Only pre-requirement is a dedicated electrical outlet under the sink. I split my power from my dishwasher. I ran my electrical line from the dishwasher under my cabinet into a dedicated dual Outlet. This under sink unit was nice because it didn’t take up much space and fit nicely under our sink. The water filtration is excellent and the display telling me how much dissolved solids are in the water is a nice feature. My only complaint is how challenging the installation was and how flimsy the connections seem to be.
