Smaller than I wanted it will not hold the towels side by side. If your plug is behind the rack there is not enough room for the towels to hang and its a fight to get them on the rack. Also the rack does not heat as well the only area that heats is where the towel is laying across the bar not just touching it. Our first base had a small crack in one corner, most likely due to shipping damage. Wayfair immediately replaced it and the 2nd base had stronger packaging material and came in good condition. The drain is very slightly off centered, which is how it was meant to be, but since we were replacing an older base that was centered, the hole and shower drain didn't match up. We purchase a small offset drain attachment which worked perfectly. The base is sturdy and strong and with the rings on the underside for support, it did not need any filling material. Design is exactly as we expected and reinforcement on the underside is significantly better than the shower pans from the big box stores that I looked at. Support is very dense so floor should be very solid. I am very happy with this for our new bathroom installation in our basement. The gold color this towel warmer comes in is absolute perfection. Not brassy in any way. We have not installed it yet but the looking at the instructions it is going to be so easy.
