The color and texture are WAY off from the photos. It is shown on the website as being a darker reddish hue with contrasting orange fringe on the ends and subtle lines stitched through it. The lines are non-existent and the color is far more brown with the fringe being the same shade as the rug itself. The area rug is soft & the dense pile is excellent. The carpet has a terrible odour once unpacked and the color of the beige area is uneven. It’s more yellow/gold at one end and lighter at side that was most tightly rolled. The tightly-rolled end makes “cracking” noises and the glue holding the cotton backing is already peeling off.
