This is so pretty! I’m doing a kitchen refresh and decided this would look great on the stovetop between the green cabinets with the off white tiles (not yet installed). The whistle is annoyingly loud, so you will hear it no matter where you are. You do have to flip the spout cover up independently of the handle I don’t mind, but you might. It pours very well provided you open the spout when pouring, and I only say this because too many people don’t actually know how to use a whistling tea kettle! I have seen too many reviews, saying it leaks all over when pouring because they’re trying to pour through the whistle opening rather than the kettle opening! Honestly, some people should not be allowed to write reviews if they don’t understand how to use the simplest of products!! I love this tea kettle. Only thing is the lid has a protrusion knob that is wooden painted silver. The knob on the cap is extremely loose and cannot be tightened. Noticed today that the knob has actually split in a couple of places. The product has a 5 year warranty and inadvertently I purchased a warranty as well. Can I have the cap replaced?. Peter.
