I would advise against ordering this from Wayfair. Ours arrived in completely damaged package that was taped over to conceal the hole, and the range itself has a massive dent up and down the entire back side. Did Wayfair send me a replacement? Nope! The stove that I received is beautiful but the wrong knobs are on this stove. They were supposed to be bronze but are graphite. Hoping Ilve will send me replacement bronze knobs. This is the 2nd Ilve range I have purchased. I love the brand and the induction heat. 4 years ago when remodeling a kitchen in our old house I had a 36” Ilve Magestic. - stainless and gold trim. Pretty great especially for the price. Heats up fast. Especially with boost mode on the burners. The knobs are nice and easy to use, yet have locking things that make them hard to accidentally turn on; good combination and harder to design well than it looks. Range included a huge really nice air frying tray that I love use. Smart Functions are optional which is good because I will never connect this or any appliance to my wifi. Cook top has proven durable and easy to clean so far. The interface for the oven and other functions is pretty good. Lots of little things that could be improved: * The largest burner is 11". Weird size. Please try to just make it 12" since that is a common skillet size. * Easy clean seems fairly ineffective. * Air fry mode is ok, but convection bake seemed to get better results for air frying. * The touch interface goes to sleep and needs an extra tap at first which is slightly annoying. This thing took FOREVER to arrive, but we knew that would be the case. It delayed home construction - the pandemic and supply chain issues to blame. Wayfair was generally ok with communication, definitely friendly, they just didn't have much info. ANYWAY - the range is beautiful. We've only had this for a month or so but so far, so good. The only issue that we've encountered is the rings around the center and right front burner (the bright chrome trim) has started to discolor as a result of food residue falling on them. Beautiful and looks just like the pictures; however, the controls are a bit hard to understand and navigate. There are “duration” functions where you can turn cooking times on and off and it is difficult to tell whether they are on or not and for which oven.. oh and it only all for military time display. Not good for us. The oven worked as intended the first few days and then suddenly the small oven stopped heating. We can’t figure out why (is it the duration function or not? And no we are not tech-dumb - my husband is an engineer who can figure most anything out and this is our second Ilve but this one operates differently.. ) and now will need to call in a technician and spend more money on this.
