The stove that I received is beautiful but the wrong knobs are on this stove. They were supposed to be bronze but are graphite. Hoping Ilve will send me replacement bronze knobs. This is the 2nd Ilve range I have purchased. I love the brand and the induction heat. 4 years ago when remodeling a kitchen in our old house I had a 36” Ilve Magestic. - stainless and gold trim. I cannot believe this is not Teflon! I emailed viking and they told me this is 99 titanium a tiny amount of silicone oxide on the cooking surface. I tried frying egg with a teaspoon of avocado oil, the egg slid smoothly as if Teflon. Then I tried with no oil at all. It did not slide freely but with help of a silicone turner the egg still released flawlessly. (See the 2 photos I attached).
