For the money.... I don't know why someone would spend $5-10,000 on a Viking unless you owned a busy restaurant and wanted to keep it 50 years. This has gas broiling in the main oven (not in the drawer)... the center burner is perfect for stir fry / Wok cooking, and the other burners have various sizes for your BTU needs. We installed this gas cooktop as part of our kitchen renovation. The ability to simmer vs use high heat has been wonderful. Water boils fast and the black stainless steel pan is so easy to clean.
