This set is beautiful! Very solid construction and I love the metal drawer pulls. Unbelievable value. I did have an issue initially because they only sent one. There was confusion at Wayfair about this being a set, but customer service resolved the issue and sent the second dresser. One of the drawer rails did separate after being built, mainly because they are glued on, but it was a simple fix with 2 screws. The drawers are a little narrow and not meant for anything very heavy, but glide and close very nicely. We had the dressers professionally built and I would recommend that if possible.. Debra. Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised by this set. I ordered it for my adult son's new apartment. He's on a budget so the set fit in nicely with that. It arrived very well-packed (no damage to boxes or contents) and it took us about 2.5 hours to put together everything. Even though it's not 'real' wood, the screws never split the wood. All the parts were neatly labeled and the instructions were written out in English. They were easy to follow. Overall, it's a great 'starter' set for a young adult or college student. I purchased two of these beds. Before buying, I read several reviews mentioning that mattresses had fallen through, or that the bed had fallen apart. After assembling both frames, I can understand how that could potentially happen — at least with one of them. There was a noticeable difference in material quality between the two beds. One feels solid and sturdy, and the slats seem like they will hold up well. The other felt more fragile during assembly. The “wood” (not real wood) was splintering slightly while we were screwing the parts together, which makes me question the durability over time. Assembly took about 2.5 hours per bed with two people. They look great once assembled, and I really love how they turned out. However, the inconsistency between the two frames makes me think quality control may be an issue.
