I’m not a super handy person and figured out how to build it by myself! Great labels on all the parts and just 6 steps. It looks great and feels sturdy! The only thing to note is that the screws on the final steps (into the slats) need a separate screwdriver or drill bit (drill recommended for ease and speed). Got king size in natural, arrived next day, no damage, had all parts, didn't take too long for two people to put together - appx 30 min; however, I think the spacers weren't the correct size because we ended up with two slats that weren't accounted for at the end, but we just respaced slightly and it was fine. I really appreciated the velcro for the slats so they don't move around when spacing - someone thought that through! You will also need a drill to screw in the slats. Headboard and footboard are not completely solid, but sturdy and the height is good for us. Also, purchased the Stearns and Foster Lux Estate Mattress and it fit perfectly. Straight out of the box I was impressed. The wood is VERY high quality and solid. The fabric was perfect, high quality as well, and well upholstered!
