He did assist me with moving it in the house from the garage, he tightened some screws as well as assembled the feet. I hope to have him back to assemble some other items. This piece comes fully assembled with the exception of the feet that basically screw in the bottom. It did arrive with a crack in the wood at the bottom near the base easily repaired with black wood putty and a little black stain.
