It looks just like the picture. I bought 2 to put over my island, they are the perfect size, not too big and not to small. The smoked gray glass and gold blend beautifully. The only thing that I did not like, because it did not match, is the box that goes up to the ceiling, which is BLACK. That made the light fixture have to many colors and distracted from the beauty of the pendant. I painted it with the same ceiling white paint to wash it out. Now it's perfect. I love this light design. It actually had built-in led strip light at the base of the round dish, which makes the dish bright also. One complaint too small for this kitchen. One thing that is annoying is the wires that it hang off on is pretty long, so if you are hanging it pretty short like what I did, there is a fair amount of wire pushing and squeezing into the rectangle box..
