This is a great-looking chandelier. I am happy with how it looks. I am giving it four stars because the mounting bracket is poorly designed. I have installed a number of ceiling fans and ceiling and wall lights. I am familiar with various mounting configurations. 1) The mounting bracket does not have a hole through which the wires would normally pass through. Instead, one has to feed the wires (hot, common, ground) through small holes normally used for mounting. 2) I attached the mounting bracket to a reinforced metal electrical box. The holes and slots in the mounting bracket did not match the screw holes in the electrical box. I had to drill new holes in the mounting bracket. 3) The screws that go between the mounting bracket and the base of the chandelier are held to the mounting bracket by tightening a threaded nut. If this nut comes loose, it becomes difficult to securely attach the base of the chandelier to the mounting bracket. I did get everything installed. It was just more difficult than it needed to me.. Clean-lined and classic, this 5-light chandelier has a versatile look we love in any entryway or living room. Made from steel, this fixture features a traditional silhouette with five curved J-shaped arms, each one supporting a candle-like sconce. Each of the sconces has a clear glass hurricane shade and a faux-candle covering to warmly diffuse the light. Plus, it suits five standard-size bulbs of up to 40W (sold separately). Up top, it hangs with the help of a height-adjustable chain downrod and a sloped ceiling-compatible canopy.
