Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with this item. The box looks like it had been opened previously and there’s two marks that could be dents. They are not in an area that would be very visible. I really love my new range hood! It arrived in perfect condition and is shiny and sleek. The lights are clear and bright and the fan is pretty quiet on all speeds. I had a handyman install it and only heard a few low mutterings to himself while installing it, but basically an uneventful installation that was vented through an existing roof vent. This hood is hardwired and was my preference because my old hood was also hardwired and I didn't want the additional expense to have an outlet installed. Broan has been around for a very long time and if I should ever need service or parts, it would not be problematic to obtain.
