The cabinets just need to be adjusted and I feel the packaging could have been better to prevent things from shifting so much, there was no support other than an empty box inside both cabinets, I feel they should replace that with a solid block of styrofoam. The Quen vanity is a heavy, very solidly made vanity, with tons of storage space both in the 6 drawers and open cabinet areas. One feature that shows its quality craftmanship is that the vanity is painted inside and out, so that opening a door or drawer doesn't reveal a pine or MDF interior that makes the whole vanity look cheap. The storage and quality were the main reasons that I chose this vanity. Now that it's installed, I'm happy with everything except for the sinks -- they are surprisingly small for such a large vanity, and they're set back from the front edge and closer to the left & right sides. This has the plus that you end up with a large amount of central countertop space, but you have less sink area to work in and the placement forces the medicine cabinets/mirrors to the outside of the vanity. This is great if you need lots of counterspace (although that's why I wanted all the drawers), but it creates aesthetic and logistical challenges. This is heavy and very well-made and all the drawers and doors operate smoothly and are positioned exactly/ symmetrically . I have a habit of leaving drawers and cabinets open but these shut on their own when you partially put them in! Very nice white painted finish. The fixtures in my bathroom are polished nickel and not chrome so I purchased different knobs. Addendum: now that I have been using this for about half a year, I sort of wish I had gotten a vanity with TALLER drawers. I have to lay down bottles and jars on their sides in these drawers.. Laura.
