The fireplace is lovely. Perhaps I should have gone with the white in my space but it looks good nonetheless. I wish there was a crackling fire sound effect included for this price point. I’ll have to come up with my own system. It’s solid, my 20lb cat jumps to the mantle without shaking it. Last point the metal grille is painted to look “antiqued”. I had order a beautiful cactus themed clay bowl from Studio A before and it was/is awesome, but this was a little on the less high end side. The craftsmanship was a little lacking in the closing mechanism and there were some scratches on the back that didn't add character; they were just scratches. I didn't return it because of the hassle and because Wayfair has been good to me over the years on returns, and it looks nice on the shelf, but closer inspection would show the flaws.. Kimberly.
