This greenhouse is absurdly difficult to assemble. For some reason it is designed to be on constant level ground. It’s a greenhouse, it goes outside in a garden where there are hills. The problem stems from these drop in rods they use. These rods go into rectangular slots and then fasten to absolutely nothing. This means that if you move the structure even as much as 1/4 inch, the rods pop out and the panels with them. These dumb rods need proper fasteners.. Anonymous. Mon Feb 09 2026

The Automatic Vent Opener was designed to automatically control the temperature in all Canopia Greenhouses. As the air inside the greenhouse warms, the vent gradually opens to allow the correct amount of air flow into the greenhouse and closes when the optimal temperature is reached. The vent arm was designed with the use of natural wax that expands as the air gets warmer, to push a piston that raises the window, then contracts as it cools, closing with the use of a spring. The Automatic Vent Opener operates without the use of electricity.

Our commercial fan, exhaust louvers, and commercial thermostat are all made in the USA and our solar panel can produce more than 2 times the needed power to operate the fan at 100%, allowing for future options such as lighting and heating. The Monticello Solar Ventilation System allows for off-the-grid operation, getting power to your greenhouse where you need it. The system is easily retrofitted to other non-Monticello greenhouses as well. The system can easily be set up to run through a deep cycle marine batter to allow for power on demand, with or without the sun's power.

We have adapted this as an exhaust fan for our greenhouse. Made mounting more difficult, but this is due to the construction of our greenhouse, not the fault of the fan. It looks like it will drain water well and catch any hairs that try to go down the drain. I removed a star because it’s not the color I ordered. I wanted the silverstainless steel option but got the wrong color and the one I wanted is backordered ( But based on this one I’m sure the stainless steel option will fit our needs.
