I love this door. We paid 600 for installation. We were a little disappointed because I thought the glass would let in a little light. Our previous door bought on my light but no privacy. The door has two locks one automatically locks. The other is locked by a key. If you are looking for an aesthetically pleasing door to update your home buy it. ....Update this door is steel so it expand and contracts according to the weather. It cold now so it's hard to put the key in the door and the automatic lock does not lock, so you have to use your key to make sure it locks. There is also a space where cold come to the house. I’m very satisfied with this door. It looks even better in person and has a very clean, modern appearance. The black finish and horizontal frosted-glass panels give it a much more upscale look than the traditional door I’m replacing. I was especially impressed with the quality of the glass. The windows are double-pane, and the frosted finish provides privacy while still allowing light through. The door itself feels solid and well made, and overall the quality exceeded my expectations for the price. The door arrived with the hinge locations already prepared, as well as the openings for the deadbolt and door handle. I’m installing it into an existing 36" x 80" entry-door frame, so I may need to make some minor adjustments to the latch/strike locations, but that is specific to my existing frame and not an issue with the door. Overall, I think this is an excellent value for a modern entry door. Similar-looking contemporary doors can cost considerably more. Product arrived packed well and on time. There was a small defect, a scratch on the front. It was listed and pictures as having all hardware included, so I assumed the knob and latch that were pictured were included, but they weren’t. The hinges and screws were though, so that was nice. UPDATED REVIEW One door has been installed (Purchased 3) and I am thrilled. Not only is the look clean and contemporary, but the quality is over the top. The framing that came with the door is superior quality and there was even really nice and thick door Trim in the box. Yay! The door itself is truly a premium door and worth the price point. All holes and corresponding trim for door knob installation were perfectly lined up so there was no having to make any changes. As my original review stated these are quite heavy. They shipped FedEx and were packaged to ensure no damage, but if you care about your FedEx drivers back youll be home to help when he arrives or have someone strong to assist. Ours got lucky that we were home. Sorry about the shadowy trim pieces. We dont have a lighting plan in our new room yet, but the trim is beautiful, ready to hang with no painting needed. ABSOLUTELY WORTH THE INVESTMENT!!! ORIGINAL REVIEW I am super excited for getting these doors out of the box and installed on my house. Very nice door. Well made. Easy to clean. Looks good too! Unfortunately I didn’t measure right and our doors are either bigger or smaller. So we can’t install it right now.
