The frame which I ordered separately is white which at first I thought… hmm.. with a black door But… we have painted the house white and the frame really compliments the door and house as you can see in the pictures. Only drawback is that it is VERY fragile, the finish as it chips super easily. My husband dropped one of the hinges and it bounced and hit the door and left a big chip in the black finish. I wish I had a picture of the finished product but they turned out really beautifully. I didn’t have one ready when I started this review and it said if I exited it would be submitted as is, so, cant share how nice they look at this time. However they are beautiful, and i had a great installer, my son, who made all the adjustments necessary to make them look like custom made doors. These doors were perfect. Packaged SO well and good quality. They are very heavy and feel solid. However the description says solid wood… they definitely are not. When I notched out the hinges it appeared to have an mdf core, at least where the hinges go. But that doesn’t bother me. They feel solid and heavy! UPDATED REVIEW One door has been installed (Purchased 3) and I am thrilled. Not only is the look clean and contemporary, but the quality is over the top. The framing that came with the door is superior quality and there was even really nice and thick door Trim in the box. Yay! The door itself is truly a premium door and worth the price point. All holes and corresponding trim for door knob installation were perfectly lined up so there was no having to make any changes. As my original review stated these are quite heavy. They shipped FedEx and were packaged to ensure no damage, but if you care about your FedEx drivers back youll be home to help when he arrives or have someone strong to assist. Ours got lucky that we were home. Sorry about the shadowy trim pieces. We dont have a lighting plan in our new room yet, but the trim is beautiful, ready to hang with no painting needed. ABSOLUTELY WORTH THE INVESTMENT!!! ORIGINAL REVIEW I am super excited for getting these doors out of the box and installed on my house.
