This item was advertised was “pre-hung”, “one piece”, “no assembly required”…however this was delivered in a crate completely separated into 4 pieces. The instructions provided for assembly were MINIMAL, so I called the supplier and spoke to them directly. They sent me a link to a YouTube video (again VERY minimal instructions) and emailed me an 18 page instruction manual which stated things like “remove the glass in the sidelights before installation…”. I called several windowdoor installers and they all refused to assembleinstall this unit. One door expert (with 30 years of experience) told me he had never seen anything like this product before and he wasn’t confident in the finished product. Luckily, Wafair was AMAZING in the refund process. They picked it up ( all the pieces) for a full refund. I was sad because this was a beautiful door…but it was not a product that could be used.. No welded seams are best as these can significantly weaken the structural integrity of the entranceway. Our doors are also more resilient to mechanic damage, such as sledgehammer strikes.- The advantage of a single, non-welded door is that it reduces interior internal condensation. Over time, condensation can negatively affect the door mechanisms.- Stiffening Ribs: These non-visible details add to our door's security.- Quality insulation serves to reduce unwanted external noise, as well as protect against extreme heat, and severe cold.- Italian Hinges Combi Arialdo: Hacking are often carried out at the side of a door's hinges.
