So when I saw this on Wayfair, I thought I could upgrade my gas cooktop with a newer one, as the dimensions were the same as my old gas cooktop. It arrives and I was surprised that the quality was better than my old one by a little bit. The strikers that ignite the fire were a bit larger and shouldn’t have issues if they get dirty. Overall it is a good cooktop. Unfortunately, the underside of the cooktop is much wider than my old one, so I can’t replace it in my kitchen as the wood underneath the cooktop I have now is too narrow. We got this gas range to replace our older one as the dimensions were what we needed. The look is squared and gives a modern feel to a kitchen. The material is of a high quality. The area that contains splashes and drips is fairly shallow, so it will need to be maintained clean, or spill over will be certain. The only thing I will need to get used to is the rack is very close to the gas knobs, and I’m afraid they will get hot during use and could pose a burn hazard.
