I waited awhile few weeks to write this review. First I loved the look of the navy blue chairs. They were very well packaged. Nothing damaged. Assembly was a breeze. The back cushion is oh so plump and lets you sink in a little bit. Not too much. Perfect amount. The seat cushion is not as plush. I’m hoping it gets a bit less firm over time. It’s by no means hard. You sink in, but I wish it felt more like the back cushion. That would have been so much better. The cushions are zippered so I may add more filling later. The fabric is great, feels like it will last awhile. It’s not thin, it’s thick. Like a denim feel. As you can see the back of the chair is angled, it’s like a permanent reclining position with very deep seating. And that’s why I ordered it. But it’s not the best sitting position unless you have an ottoman. I’m trying to find the ottoman that they used to sell with this chair, but until then I’m adding a pillow behind my head to support my neck and keep it more upright. Otherwise it’s just not as comfortable as I feel it should be. It will be better after I add the ottoman. Overall it’s a great sturdy chair. I looked at these chairs for a while and am really glad I got them. Very nice in person, the seats a little stiff but not uncomfortable. Soft Baby blue but color can change a little with whatever pillows you add. I needed to blend my other blues in room a bit and the added pillow helped. These chairs are very close to what I wanted. The fabric and gray stripe are beautiful, the seat is firm and comfortable, and the chairs feel sturdy and roomy. I am 5’5” and 280 lbs, and they feel very stable. The back cushions seem a little underfilled, and the chair back is lower and slightly smaller overall than I expected. Purchased this as an open box and couldn’t be happier. Insanely easy ‘assembly’, just screw in the feet and slot the back into the metal track. I bought this as a comfy chair for kitchen visitors and I think it’s going to be perfect. It sits firm but still cozy, and wide enough to curl up in, at least according to my dog in the photo (she is a 20-lb Scottish terrier for reference). My chair arrived intact and on day expected. The FedEx driver was putting it on the carport which was great due to expect. I asked if he could take to my feet family room door just about 15-20 ft from where he was leaving it and he did, earning him a tip. The chair had no damage and I noted that the dust cover at bottom of the chair was actually cloth instead of the paper like stuff that’s often used. I’m 79 yo and moved the box into the house, removed and inspected everything by myself. I attempted to attach the wings to the back but was unable to get the brackets to slide into each other so had to wait for help. Once that was done the rest was easy. I love the color and like many have said in reviews the seat is hard. I expect it will soften up with uses. The fabric is nice and I expect to get many years of use from this chair. Absolutely perfect. I was reluctant because it was custom and non refundable. Yet I perused the reviews and ordered sample fabric and it is exactly what I wanted. Very roomy and cushy. The kind of chair that you want to climb into, cross your legs and read a book or have your dog next to you in it. The slip covers are so nice (little wrinkles still). The chairs are robust in size. Tall and dwarfs my couch a tad but works nonetheless. Do not hesitate if you are wanting that genuine white beach canvas look and not the off white with beige fleck everyone else has. Super happy.
