But the fit was good and it stayed in place without needing any grips. Once I had it on even when I would sit on it and stand back up, it was nicely in place. The fabric is decent and the part that goes over the seat cushions has a backing to it that evidently is waterproof but for me what it did was keep that bottom place looking very tidy. It was only the color I was disappointed in. I was curious why people showing pictures did not tuck it in because it can be quite a tailored look if you take the time to tuck it all in nicely.. Al. These are absolutely gorgeous! They completely transformed my wingback chairs. I did spend some time adjusting, pulling, and straightening the fabric to get that crisp, tailored look, but it was well worth the effort. I ordered this to go on an armchair. When I opened it, I thought that I was sent the wrong item until reviewed my order and read that it is listed for "accent chairs" which are typically smaller. Once I moved past my error, I realized how pretty and soft the fabric was and decided to try it on an old beige accent chair in my bedroom.
