Bosch's inventive downdraft ventilation systems keep mealtime fresh by quietly purifying the air while you cook. They’re sleek, built-in, retract out of sight when not in use, and are beautifully designed to seamlessly integrate into any kitchen. Maintain an odor-free kitchen and breathe easier knowing that smoke, steam, grease and odors are quietly and effectively taken care of. And the dishwasher-safe mesh filters are easy to clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our old(1999) system with Bosch and couldn't be happier. New system is much quieter. We are using our system much more because it is easy to hear and talk while using. When in use, the Bosch is taller and seems to catch more of the smoke and odors. Very pleased with our upgrade.. This stainless steel backsplash behind the stove, featuring a brushed finish and laser-cut spots, offers precise wall protection, rust resistance, and efficient storage with side guards and a larger shelf, and it installs easily with a few screws while being simple to clean for a modern kitchen aesthetic.

The backsplash is really nice and give the space above the stove a very clean look. We removed the microwave above the stove and was having headache about how to tile the space behind the microwave to match the existing backsplash tiles. This solves the issue and saves us money!. Nice unit. Relatively easy to install with 2 people. 1st unit damaged and refunded. 2nd unit better but still some hidden cosmetic damage to the hood. Hood could be thicker metal to prevent this, and QC needs better eyes out the door.
