It heats things quickly, the element and stove top don't remain hot for long after cooking, The range looks sharp, even "snappy." The panel display on the range sometimes talks back to you when cleaning it, but you just have to remind it that you're not cooking now, just cleaning. I'm not able to use my Pyrex coffee percolator on this range, which is too bad, but it's OK- the pots and pans you use have to be appropriate for the technology. And the oven- it's ability to convey information and provide uniform heating is first rate. After our last range became non-functional due to a touchscreen issue, we were looking for a comparable unit in terms of functionality and style. This unit meets all of my expectations. The range looks amazing and fits in perfectly within our kitchen space and among our other Samsung appliances. Install was quick and painless. Since I already have other appliances by Samsung, I already had my Smart Things app open by the time they had the unit plugged in. It connected to the app flawlessly and quickly, they did an excellent job with Smart Things. The cooking surface looks great. It is shiny and reflective, but also has a slight texture to it so most pans are less likely to slide around. The knobs are pretty nifty to. Not only do they illuminate when you turn them on, but the have a built in safety mechanism. You need to pinch the knobs before you are able to turn them on, all but eliminating the worry of a child accidentally turning the stove top on. The oven itself is packed full with different features and cooking modes. The fact that you can bake, broil, and air fry with the same unit is amazing, and the results are excellent as well for all those modes. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung NSG80H60SRAA is a beast of a range if you want that high end look without the professional grade price tag. I have been using Samsung products for a long time and I think this stove packs a lot options which other stoves don't. The air fry max feature actually delivers. Most ovens claim to air fry but just end up baking poorly, this stove has the airflow to actually get things crispy and cooked well. The true convection keeps everything even, so you do not have to worry about hot spots where the back of the tray is burning up, while the front is still uncooked. Plus, being able to preheat the oven from your phone through the app is a total game changer when you are busy. A major highlight for me is the knob design. They have a pinch-and-push locking mechanism that makes it much harder for kids to accidentally turn the gas on while playing. It gives a lot of peace of mind knowing the stove is essentially child-proofed. The digital panel is right on the front, and it is sensitive. If you lean against the stove while working on the back burners, you will probably accidentally beep a setting or turn something off. Also, while the grates are heavy-duty and look great, moving them to wipe down the cooktop is a workout. The only downside with this oven is the heat coming out of the vent when the oven is on. It seems like the vents for the oven could have been placed better as it blows the warm air right into your face if you were using the burners while the oven was running.
