Bought this hood since I needed to replace my old one and I must say this thing is absolutely amazing!! Easy installation and it came in perfect condition with no damages at all, it has a motion detector for your hands so you don’t have to press any buttons which was very very cool, also it sucks up the smoke so fast and well. Definitely recommended if you need a hood for your kitchen. It has such a clean finish to it and it should go well with any kitchen. This is a very well built range hood. Plenty of power for clearing smoke from frying and steam from hot pots. Reduction of odors from the kitchen while cooking are noticeable! Light is plenty bright and even on the highest setting, fan noise is not objectionable. Black stainless color blends well with other similar colored appliances in our kitchen from GE, Samsung, and KitchenAid. Only concerns are that you absolutely should inspect both the box and appliance prior to installation. Ours arrived with a large and noticeable dent in the hood that could not be repaired. Wayfair support was helpful swapping this. Carefully inspected the new unit prior to installation. No issues. Note this does not come with a 110v cord. If your installation is using a 110v outlet for power, you will need to purchase a grounded appliance cord separately. Note that photos were taken with light on brightest setting. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We installed this hood 2 months back and it is working well. We liked the "boxy" look of this model as opposed to the "awning" style look of most undercab hoods. We also liked that this had the option for connection to ducting out the back of the hood, which made this easy to duct outside (we didn't have to go up into the cabinet, just ducted straight back outside). Install was fairly easy (just screwed in two "runners" under our cabinets, then slotted the hood onto those runners, screwed in place, and then installed the mesh screens). Overall it runs quietly and does a decent job sucking up fumes from our induction stovetop. If I had a gas range I might opt for something more powerful (but we didn't want too many CFMs as we believe that would have forced us to introduce make-up or return air into our kitchen to meet local codes). Very happy with this purchase. Arrived protected by foam inserts totally around the ends. Very heavy Duty type of unit. Has duel blowers that have a 10 year warranty. And have 4 speed settings. Which you can operate by either touch, remote or by waving your head across the front of the unit. I do recommend having two people to lift and install it. It comes already set up for a round duct through the top. But they give you plates to change it over to 4" X 10" like I had to do. Very simple process. It comes with a plug attached if you already have an out in the cabinet over it. Or you can hard wire it . Which is what I chose to do. Overall it's a very nice unit and I am happy with it.
